In summer, some people take UV protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although ultraviolet rays have a rather bad image, they are used in various scenes in our daily lives.

There are different types of ultraviolet radiation.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ultraviolet radiation can be divided into three main categories according to wavelength (the length of one wave).

near-ultraviolet rays\u2026What we call UV.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

UV-A… causes loss of elasticity and accelerated ageing of the skin, while activating cellular functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UV-B…causes sunburn. Produces vitamin D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UV-C … highly bactericidal and destructive to living organisms, but does not normally reach the ground surface.

Far ultraviolet (vacuum ultraviolet)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It can only travel in a vacuum and therefore does not reach the surface of the earth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extreme ultraviolet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ultraviolet radiation similar to X-rays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our daily lives, we are greatly affected by near-ultraviolet radiation that reaches the earth’s surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although UV radiation has a bad reputation, it is used in a wide range of fields.
