What are pulleys and drums for marine components?
A pulley is a disc-shaped component that uses a belt to transmit power and shift gears.
The purpose is to transfer the power from the engine to the generator, hydraulic pump, etc.
A marine drum is a winding copper attached to a capstan that rotates horizontally when hoisting a rope or net.
Wrapping around the drum when hoisting prevents ropes and nets from tangling.

As no keyway is required, this flexible adaptor can be used to reduce the shaft diameter by one step or to accommodate the shaft diameters of various generators.
